If the words weren't enough...








Here are a few images of the great Measles campaign: Agnes preaching to the mothers on the importance of HIV testing, my marvelous malaria-stricken stick figures, Nurse Violet addressing a crowd of net-seeking mothers at the door of the clinic, a one-day old baby with polydactly (12 fingers and 12 toes) which I helped remove-only the extra ones, of course, a child enduring the terror of a measles vaccine, me preparing a hefty Vitamin A dose, and a little boy in a pink shirt who is older than 5 (he failed my age-detector test) and has very little Irish blood in him (therefore I did not kiss him but shook his hand and politely said, "Merembe"/hello).
